Designs are checked for technical compliance against defence standard and guideline documents such as: ▪ JSP’s (Joint Service Publications) ▪ BPS (Building Performance Standards) ▪ DMG’s (Defence Maintenance Guides) ▪ CTM (Counter Terrorist Measures) ▪ DREAM (Defence Related Environmental Assessment Methodology) ▪ DoD standards such as UFC’s (United Facilities Criteria) ▪ NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Our defence experience gives us the cross-sector knowledge required to achieve optimum design solutions in all areas of defence related projects.We consult extensively with user groups to ensure all stakeholder needs are incorporated.This is often extended to FM contractors so that continuity can be established across sites for maintainability, base standards or specific suppliers being considered. With over 200 professional staff we assemble teams to best suit the project type and meet our clients’ requirements.We approach each project holistically and look to provide energy-efficient solutions with minimal maintenance requirements. Our team has experience in handling complicated multi-building and multi-discipline modelling projects, that require high levels of coordination through clash detection, collaborative modelling and the hosting of live model workshops during design team meetings where applicable.
