Commercial management: Value management and engineering including providing an Employers Agent role, design and build contractor liaison. Insurance reinstatement costs: Calculating building and reinstatement costs is essential for clients to set insurance premiums. Life Cycle Costing (LCC): Technical and financial audits - following the standardised approach to the life cycle costing appraisal of the sustainable design of buildings, longer term maintenance and renewal issues analysed through whole life costing exercises.
The team specialises in all aspects of quantity surveying procedures from early feasibility through to project completion. Design economics and cost planning: The assessment of feasibility studies enables value engineering at the early stages of a project and assists the design team with scope parameters, brief development, and business case validation. Procurement and tendering: Advise on procurement options and then implementation of the full tendering process. Services include tender documentation, mid tender interviews, pre-tender estimates, tender analysis, post tender interviews and post tender report.The above can be tailored to suit alternate procurement routes. Contract administration support: All aspects of pre and post contract management including negotiation, valuation and variation assessments, cost reporting, and package cost verification.
