We work on a wide range of schemes and commissions from 6-facet surveys, condition related projects and space utilisation surveys to master-planning and multi-million pound capital and charity funded developments.We employ qualified professionals that provide a plethora of multidisciplinary services. We can provide DDA access audits, as well as further specialist services including 6-facet surveys, condition surveys,ADB room data sheets, technical compliance surveys against HTM’s and HBN’s and CDM Principal Designer / Health & Safety advice.We also act as technical advisors, project managers, cost consultants and independent monitoring for PFI, NHS LIFT, Procure 23 and privately funded projects. Our advice and specialist surveys are trusted by numerous NHS Trusts and care providers throughout the region.
Our objective is to develop design solutions which provide freedom of choice and meet the needs of patients, service users, staff and residents. Designs are checked for technical compliance, including quality control checklist standards and NHS guidelines such as the HTM’S (Health Technical Memorandums) and HBN’s (Health Building Notes). Our health and residential experience gives us the cross-sector knowledge to achieve optimum design solutions in all areas of health and care.We consult extensively with clinical teams and user groups to ensure all stakeholder needs are incorporated.This is often extended to FM so that continuity can be established across sites with preferred FM regimes and suppliers being considered. With over 150 professional staff we assemble teams to best suit the project type and meet the client’s requirements.We approach each project holistically and look to provide energy efficient solutions with the minimum of maintenance requirements. We have experience in the integration of renewable and low carbon technologies such as combined heat and power (CHP), photovoltaics (PV) solar panels and can advise on the technical, regulatory and financial implications of such choices including payback timescales. We have extensive experience across all areas of healthcare, including primary and GP care, acute care, mental health care and supported living.We have provided advice, designed and worked in many specialist areas.
